All riders under the age of eighteen (18) years of age will be required to wear a helmet while participating in all KSC events.
All non-board members shall remain out of the announcers booth at all times. This does not include volunteers or event announcer given permission to enter announcers booth.
All KSC members, fifteen (15) years of age and up, must volunteer for each playday event in order to be eligible for end-of-year awards and prizes. Volunteer sign-up forms will be posted before each playday event.
Rider must ride in four-out-of-six (4/6) playdays in order to qualify for end-of-year prizes.
Points will be awarded to members only. Non-members will NOT be considered in the awarding of points. The awarding of points will only count once you become a member and pay all dues. Any prior participation in play days will not be considered.
**Leadline participants will receive awards each time they participate. They will be eligible for end of year awards if they are a member and participate in 4 of the 6 playdays. No timing and points will be done.
All playday events are scheduled for the second Saturday of March-June and September-October.
In the event a playday needs to be re-scheduled, it will be held on the fourth Saturday of the same month.
Rider's age as of January 1, 2026 (or current year):
"Most Improved" award will be given out at our EOY banquet for riders who improve their time in cloverleaf barrels and pole bending events.
Rider must be a member in order to be eligible for this alternate award. One award per age division will be given. Every time a rider improves their time in either cloverleaf barrels or pole bending events, they will receive one entry for the EOY alternate award. Riders are exempt from qualifying for the alternate award if they qualify for the Top 6 class placement at end-of-year.
In the event a rider needs a re-run, discretion will be up to the Board of Directors.
A current Coggins is required for all horses.
For the safety of the horses and participants, all dogs must remain on a leash at all times. This is also in accordance with the Animal Services Ordinances in Chapter 3 of the Keller Code of Ordinances.
Alcohol is prohibited at Keller Saddle Club events, in accordance with Keller Sports Park guidelines and rules.
